These boots were made of steel today and there was definitely no walking in what was an amazing match. Herne Bay Harriers Under 14s were up against it today with no subs for the entire game and playing a side that had beaten them last season with an 8:4 win. But that wasn’t going to stop our Harriers. At half time they were 2:0 down and down to 10 players but they soldiered on and battled hard bringing the team up to a 2:2 equaliser. That didn’t stop these steel boots though, they then managed to bring the side to 2:3 up for the harriers with still only 10 men on the pitch. It was a battle that continued when St Margaret’s then scored another equaliser but that didn’t stop our team ethic. Then when there was only 2 minutes left in the game and the scores sat at 4:5 to St Margaret’s our team fought on scoring an equalising goal 10 seconds before the final whistle. It was a game that was unbelievable to watch and demonstrated the sheer passion and determination of a brilliant team. Well done all #COYH
