The Herne Bay Harriers took on Tankerton Colts a week after a competent away display. Archie T got the ball rolling with a good assist coming from Josh, which he blasted into the back off the net. Tankerton then hit back with an own goal after forcing it, coming from a good corner from the left. Josh then nudged the Harriers ahead again with a good finish. Before Tankerton hit back again. Showing they were up for the fight a week after the reverse fixture. At half time the teams were well matched.

After half time, with some wise words from there shrewd manager. The Harriers pressed from the word go, Riley coming on for the second week running and scored after a good run and cross was hit by Josh, matched by a good save by the goalkeeper, but Riley had followed in to tap the ball home. Josh then got his second with a smart finish after a good cross by Archie T. Archie then got another goal off his own after a superb cross from Riley, Josh laid the ball off for the finish from Archie. Archie T then forced an unfortunate OG after good chasing and harassing the defender whilst he faced his own goal. Then came a great piece off play from Oliver, after a great tackle, he fed a superb pass which released Archie T on the right who was causing havoc. He then found a great scooped finish over the goalkeeper into the far corner from just inside the box. Tankerton then got back in the goals with a good cross which was turned into his own net by one of the boys. Another unfortunate moment in the game for both teams. As the game went on the Harriers didn't relent, Kyle finding the net with a great finish after a super assist from Riley. Kyle then got another with a cross - come - shot after good work down the right. Putting in a great shift. With Tankerton getting the final goal off the game with a penalty.

On reflection the boys really fought in the second half and showed real spirit after a good game off two halves.
